everything starts from this universal point. the beginning of life. the beginning of movement. this same energy center which is found inside our pelvis. for millennia women have danced around, with, inside and outside this center, to better understand its power and energetic intelligence.

in this retreat, we will dive back into this universal knowledge and reclaim its sacred connection with the center of creation inside our womb through dance.

through the knowledge of Isis, among others, we are going to revisit certain gestures that we find today in what we call Raqs Sharki, or "bellydance" in our society, in order to dive back into these sacred times where these movements were used (and are still today) as a form of somatic body medicine.

    Jade Maya has always seen dance as a powerful tool for transformation, transmutation and healing. having the conviction that art has the capacity to change society, break the silence on certain taboos, and open healthy and positive discussions. she transforms her love for movement into a means of reclaiming the body by specializing in uterine health through dance. both a doula and an artist, she deeply believes in the body's ability to regenerate itself, among other things through its reconnection with nature and its own nature. she has had the chance to travel to several continents to offer immersions, workshops and conferences on the infinite possibilities that dance, art and nature have for our individual and collective well-being.

    Kimiko, creator of Lush Lands apothecary, is a naturalist trained in the herbal arts of flower essences and travels around the world to sacred sites to craft medicine from the lands. she facilitates mystical rituals as a healer and experienced mentor of embodied spirituality and communion with the ecology of botanical beauty.
