Accountability

Admitting responsibility is the first step towards transformation.

Acknowledging, identifying, and naming injustice.

I hold and feel inside everything I stand against, because I am connected to everything and everyone.

I am willing to be accountable for my responsibility as a GLOBAL CITIZEN. I want to strengthen my integrity.

I want to transform systematic oppressive consciousness, so I ask myself how am I contributing to all of this...

I am racist.
I am ignorant.
I am prejudiced.
I am compliant to capitalism.
I am complacent in climate inaction.
I culturally appropriate.
I am privileged and greedy.
I am bankrupt and poor.
I hurt and blame others.
I whitewash/shame/colonize my identity.
I spiritually bypass.
I look the other way.
I reject what’s challenging.
I am lost and don’t know what to do.

I am growing.

My daily practice is to nourish these new evolutionary eyes. I believe we are all having a consciousness upload on every single paradigm of our existence.

To understand with unbiased clarity, and feel from an equanimous heart is not easy.

It breaks my heart open everyday to witness and be a part of:
- social censorship
- racist brutality
- prejudice against the “asian” virus
- ignorance, denial, and unwillingness
- no facts, just opinions
- this month extreme poverty increased to 60 million more people living on less than $2
- a lot of pain
- anger
- aloneness
- protest
- death

I am capable. We are capable.

I sit with the knowledge that my blood is yours, your hate I feel it, your love, I feel it, your pain lives in me.

My hopes live in you too. I mother these infractions of my soul, so that the collective can be whole.
